  • Why are the Swarovski pens so expensive?
The Swarovski pens contain at least two Swarovski beads and/or a Swarovski charm. The cost of each bead and charm is what makes the pen expensive in addition to the other crystal beads and charms on the pen. What is Swarovski crystal? Swarovski produces crystals of the finest quality. The company's name has become synonymous with genuine crystal. Swarovski's specialized manufacturing processes, together with the highest quality raw materials, guarantee the highest possible degree of precision, component quality, consistency and unmatched brilliance. Swarovski crystal is produced at the company’s traditional production plant in Wattens, Austria, where each crystal is subject to the most stringent quality controls. The exact recipe and the proportion of quartzs, sand, and minerals remain a company secret that is part of the legacy of the brand. Swarovski is a luxury brand that produces high-quality crystals and jewelry that are expensive for a number of reasons, including: Precision cutting Daniel Swarovski developed a patented cutting machine in 1892 that allowed for unprecedented accuracy in cutting crystals. The crystals are cut with up to 100 facets that bend and mirror light, making them look similar to diamonds. Materials Swarovski crystals are made from a secret lead glass recipe that includes quartz, sand, minerals, and about 32% lead. The lead helps maximize the refraction in the crystals. Brand name Swarovski's crystals are priced higher due to their brand name, quality, work process, and unique artwork. Weight Swarovski crystals are heavier than rhinestones because they are made with heavier materials like quartz and minerals. Design flexibility Swarovski crystals are set by hand without using prongs or glue, which offers great design flexibility. Please note that sometimes, if the tarnish has been left for too long, the metal will remain discloured. Once the component is clean, rinse throughly to ensure there is no paste residue, to help prevent chemical residue from affecting the metal.

Please follow the instructions in the diagram below or the written description. How to measure your wrist size using a tape measure. 1. Rotate your forearm outward until your palm is facing up and open your hand This is when your wrist is the largest. Rotate your arm outward and open your hand Do not rotate your wrist inward (like you would read the time on your watch) or close your hand, you will get a reading that is slightly smaller than the actual size of your wrist. 2. Place the end of the measuring tape in the middle of your wrist width Positioning the end of the tape measure there will make it easier to take the reading afterward. How high or low on your wrist should you place it? The exact placement may differ according to your morphology. But most of the time, you want to put it on the line where your wrist bone is or just 1 cm or 1/2 inch higher (in the direction of your elbow). This is where your wrist is the smallest. Place the end of the measuring tape in the middle of your wrist, where you will wear your watch. 3. Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist and read the measurement Wrap it firmly against your wrist but not too tightly. The measurement tape should fit snugly around your wrist, with no play or space between your skin and the tape. But the tape shouldn’t be so tightly wrapped around your wrist that your skin begins to bulge. Take the reading That’s it, you have your wrist size!
